What?
Sometimes called Magic Lantern Show, Overhead Projector Shadow Puppetry, Live Animation, Multi-media Performance or Projected Theater. Performed by two or three puppeteers (aka lanterneers) who project images made of plastic and acrylic gels onto a screen with overhead projectors.  With graceful, hand manipulated cutouts and a bold graphic sensibility, this unique form of puppetry blends the manipulation of objects with the tricks of Victorian Magic Lantern slide shows and brings a modern twist to pre-cinema.
