Learning the basics of the visual magic used by Nana Projects lanterneers, participants created imagery for a spectacular Magic Lantern performance in an intensive four-session workshop, June 18–30 , Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30–8:30 p.m. Open studio time was also available on Saturdays.

Starting at 7:30 p.m., a spectacle of light like no other will follow between 8:30–9:00 p.m., depending on time of sunset. Using multiple overhead projectors, artists will project hand-cut silhouettes onto a giant screen, enhancing them with optical illusions. Admission is free.
