School Programs
Our primary programs include Shadow Puppetry and Parade Arts.

Shadow Puppetry- Shadow Puppetry uses simple paper cutouts and overhead projectors, to cast shadows onto a screen that spring to life with depth and movement. During a Nana Projects Shadow Puppet Residency students work in teams to create a shadow puppet show from start to finish. The final shadow puppet performance allows the students to share what they learned with classmates and family. The nature of Shadow Puppetry lends itself perfectly to integrating with outcomes and indicators for, Reading, Writing, Social Studies and the Arts.

Parade Arts - During a Nana Projects Parade Arts Residency students create lanterns or costumes and then showcase them in a festive parade. This workshop is perfect for school celebrations. The program successfully integrates the art project with curriculum outcomes and indicators for Science and the Arts.
